Freemans Amboy Camp Shirt

Located in the heart of the Mojave desert along the historic Route 66, Amboy, California was once a popular place to stop for people migrating west – especially during the Dust Bowl of the 1930s. After the opening of Interstate 40 in 1973 diverted highway traffic to the north, Amboy was largely abandoned and became a classic California ghost town. The abandoned buildings, including the landmark Roy’s Motel and Cafe, became a popular shooting location for photographers and a few Hollywood films.

The towns sunny, nostalgic desolation inspired Freemans Sporting Club’s new Amboy Shirt. Equal parts fun and function, the camp collar shirt is made in the USA from lightweight cotton in a blue or peach desert palm print. The Amboy has a full, relaxed fit with a single chest pocket and natural corozo buttons. Perfect for your summer vacation or staycation.

The FSC Amboy Shirt ($198.00) is available now from freemanssportingclub.com.
