Already the official watch of the Monaco Grand Prix, TAG Heuer recently added the Historic Grand Prix of Monaco to its list of motor-racing sponsorships. The 2020 race may be another causality of the COVID-19 pandemic, but that hasn’t stopped the Swiss watchmaker from celebrating its new link to the Principality with another edition its Monaco chronograph series.
The Tag Heuer Grand Prix De Monaco Historique stands out with design features like a big square 39 mm stainless steel case, scratch resistant beveled sapphire crystal, and red and white racing inspired dial with two chronograph sub-dials and an angled aperture at 6 o’clock displaying the date. Offered in a limited edition of 1000 numbered pieces, the Grand Prix De Monaco Historique uses TAG’s own Calibre HEUER 02 Automatic movement to produce an 80 hour power reserve.
