Originally marketed as the Sureshot when it launched in 1949, the canvas hi-top was quickly endorsed by Mr. Basketball, George Mikan – one of the early pioneers of the game. J.Crew maintains the spirit of the original design with a low-top sneaker in durable cotton canvas printed with herringbone stripes in navy or red, sitting on a rubber outsole with the Pro-Keds signature red and blue power stripes.
