Nike Air Max 90 City Pack

Nike’s new Air Max 90 City Pack celebrates the grinders – hardworking professionals who keep five of the biggest cities in the world moving. Each pair is specially designed with elements specific to the London’s postal workers, the Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY), Parisian bakers, delivery service workers in Shanghai, and Tokyo’s construction workers.

A round tongue emblem resembling a stamp with Nike’s co-founder Bill Bowerman tops the Air Max 90 representing London’s postmen and postwomen. The FDNY Air Max 90 incorporates a reflective Swoosh, “screwed down” heel emblem with “90” in a retro font as a nod to their uniform and old firefighter helmets. An all white Air Max 90 represents the uniforms of Parisian bakers with wheat graphic sockliner and “Baked Fresh Daily” logo to represent pâtisserie signage. Shanghai’s Air Max 90 is inspired by the top two food delivery services in Shanghai, complete with a receipt tongue tab and a five-star mud guard underlay for a five-star review. The Air Max 90’s Tokyo edition is a nod to street signs around construction sites, while the printed sockliner’s image overlooks Japan’s cityscape.

The Air Max 90 City Pack will be available January 30 at Nike flagship stores in NYC, Paris, London, Tokyo and Shanghai.
