Todd Snyder At The Liquor Store

In 2008 J.Crew opened its first menswear-only boutique in a landmark 1800s townhouse formerly occupied by the Tribeca Tavern. Stocked with vintage Swiss watches, Red Wing boots and other third-party brands, the concept was developed by Andy Spade, then-CEO Mickey Drexler and J.Crew’s then-SVP of menswear, Todd Snyder. A decade later, Snyder returns to reclaim the space as his second New York City store.

Todd Snyder at the Liquor Store offers exclusive designs, limited edition collaborations, tailored suiting, curated accessories, collectible artwork, vintage books and grooming essentials, along with a rotating program of member events. The clubby, olive green interior makes good use of the building natural character with coffered walls, shiplap ceilings and brass accents. The reclaimed oak floor is laid out in a herringbone design. Part clubhouse, part clothing store mostly clothing store, the Tribeca space is a tightly curated distillation of Todd Snyder’s lifestyle brand.
