Watch Porn: IWC Launching Top Gun Mojave Desert Chrono

IWC’s lastest Top Gun Edition Chrono takes inspiration from California’s Mojave Desert, home of the China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station.

IWC’s new sand-colored Top Gun Edition Chrono was inspired by California’s Mojave Desert, where the China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station – the US Navy’s largest single landholding – is located. The color of the 44.5 mm ceramic case, which matches the flying suits of the US Navy pilots, comes from a combination of zirconium oxide with other metallic oxides. Limited to 500 pieces, the Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Top Gun Edition Mojave Desert is powered by an IWC manufactured calibre with a 46 hour power reserve. Some of the features, like the soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic fields and glass crystal secured against displacement by a drop in air pressure, are the result of engineering to the specific requirements of military aviation.
