Helmut Lang recruited Los Angeles–based photographer Paul Mpagi Sepuya for their latest artist collaboration. Sepuya’s work is rooted in portraiture, identity, voyeurism and visual fragmentation. His carefully staged photographs feature a cast of artists, muses, friends or Sepuya himself in images that appear layered, fractured or collaged. The new Helmut Lang The Artist Series: Paul Mpagi Sepuya capsule features three self portraits printed on unisex T-shirts.
