Lane Crawford Exclusive Skate Decks

Lane Crawford has given the people what they want since 1850. Today people want streetwear, specifically skateboarding culture – think Supreme x Louis Vuitton, Vetements Thrasher logo sweatshirts or the $2,900 decks Henri d’Origny designed for Hermès – which makes sense, skaters were the original exponents of streetwear. Now the storied Hong Kong retailer is collaborating with pop artists POSE, Craig & Karl, Sorayama and Berlin-based duo Zebu on a series of exclusive skate decks. Each limited edition design treads the line between art and street. These decks will look just as good hanging on your wall as they will sliding and grinding on a mini ramp.

Lane Crawford’s global exclusive artist collaboration skateboards are available now at lanecrawford.com.

Brian Siswojo, founder of Hong Kong’s hottest skate shop 8FIVE2, on fashions skater fixation, “To me skateboarders have always been non-purposefully influencing fashion in general since the very beginning simply because they wear what they like and what makes them feel good without following the trend or hype. They set the trend not follow it. That’s what makes skateboarders so unique and fashion gravitates to that… I used to collect used decks by my professional skateboarder friends; they mean a lot to me. I have a few displayed in my home and in the meantime until I get more wall space, the decks I have at 8FIVE2 are my personal favourites.”
