Michael Bastain’s back-to-basics Fall 2013 GANT collection, presented at the Art Students League of New York, was inspired by the works of Norman Rockwell. The preppy, approachable and highly wearable collection, titled In Stockbridge after Rockwell’s hometown in Massachusetts, was reminiscent of Bastian’s early presentations for his namesake line and offered a truly American perspective on sportswear.
