Trussardi Fall Winter 2013

In one of his best collections yet, designer Umit Benan worked a sporty, outdoorsy element into the collection, giving it a youthful flair. Suits came in chunky, wide wale corduroy, in shades of olive, rust, and blue, while other wool ones had velcro tabs at the wrist, and neoprene patches on the arms. Bonded cotton Macintosh-style raincoats with rounded shoulders came in punchy shades of yellow, bright red or burgundy, as did anoraks. Benan blended the luxe and the sporty seamlessly, as in one anorak that was cut from chocolate-colored shearling, and a luscious fur coat that boasted waterproof fabric sleeves.
