When Umit Benan was appointed Creative Director of Trussardi as Milan Vukmirovic’s successor some fashion critics openly wonder if the young Turkish-German designer had the experience and depth of vision to continue the brand-revival started by Vukmirovic. With each season Benan has proven more and more capable. This season he mined the Seventies aesthetic to produce a collection of chic double-breasted blazers, modern polo’s and loose linen shirts.
