Band Of Outsiders partnered with The Woolmark Company to create a Fall collection focused on outerwear and knitwear made from the finest Australian merino wool. Inspired by idyllic winter holidays in world class ski-resorts like Aspen and Telluride in Colorado and Verbier and Zermatt in the Swiss canton of Valais, the FW18 collection introduced Shearling coats and pyjamas, a first for the brand, along with Band staples like corduroy suits, bomber jackets and over-dyed denim. The ode to winter continued with a polar bear motif knitted into sweaters, printed on a windbreaker and emblazoned on the PJ’s. Band devotees might recognize last Falls teddy bear coat reissued in stark Polar Bear white for Fall/Winter 2018. As always the tailoring is nonchalant with sporty suiting and sharp sportswear proving that with all the changes at Band Of Outsiders, the best bits remain.
