Puma released the new limited edition Bolt Legacy Spikes to celebrate the legendary career of track & field star Usain Bolt ahead of his final race this weekend in the UK. Usain will take the track in a special pair of Bolt Legacy Spikes made exclusively for London and designed to commemorate key moments of his career. The right shoe is emblazoned with “Forever” and the alpha symbol to represent the beginning of his career. The purple and green colors are for William Knibb High School near Falmouth, Jamaica, Bolt’s high school alma mater where he started on the track. The left shoe is labeled “Fastest” and has the omega symbol to represent the finish of his career. The left shoe is gold to represent his successes and the sock liner highlights his major achievements since 2002. The tongue of the spikes have Usain’s signature and a mark of his classic pose embossed, the Jamaican flag is also incorporated to show the love he has for his home country.

“Usain Bolt has been a transformative figure for track & field and brought a type of energy that the sport has never seen before,” said Bjoern Gulden, CEO of PUMA. “The way he has stayed true to his core messages, family, and fans the whole time has been what’s really resonated with people all around the globe. We are proud to have been working with Usain for so many years now and our partnership will continue long after his race this weekend.”
