Sleepy Jones X Jean-Philippe Delhomme

For the latest edition of their artist collaboration series Sleepy Jones turned to fashion illustrator, painter and writer Jean-Philippe Delhomme. The Parisian-born creative is perhaps most famous for his early Nineties advertising campaign for Barneys New York. The series of gouache illustrations with comical captions were a huge success, appearing on billboards, buses and television advertisements across the country.

The series includes two crisp T-shirsts and two comfy sweatshirts. The first T-shirt is printed with a Delhomme illustration of Jackson Pollock and the second has a line drawing of Picasso painting in his underwear. The Picasso illustration repeats on one of the sweatshrits with another showing Henri Matisse painting in bed, executed in Delhomme’s instantly recognizable style.
