Since its launch in 2011 the Levi’s Commuter Series has from a small capsule collection strictly focused on the needs of the urban cyclist into a line of stylish, utilitarian wardrobe staples finished with technical benefits like NanoSphere protective finishes and reflective 3M Scotchlite tape. The Fall/Winter 2014 Commuter Collection has everything you need whether you are pedaling across the Williamsburg Bridge to work or walking across a parking lot in rainstorm, all with Levi’s classic American style.
The Fall/Winter 2013 designs incorporate concealed pockets for easy storage, stretch-woven fabrics for increased mobility and reflective tape for increased visibility. The collection includes a packable shell jacket with perforated panels on the arms and neck, a denim trucker jacket with a packaway hood, and water and dirt repellent chinos and jeans with a U-lock friendly waistband and reflective tape on the inner ankle.
Along with the latest Commuter Collection release, Levi’s just announced a Commuter Workspace series that kicks off on July 8 in Brooklyn before moving to Los Angeles and London. The program offers commuter free workspace, Wi-Fi, tailoring services and coffee provided by Grady’s Cold Brew. The spaces will also feature bike valet and repair services provided by Transportation Alternatives.
