Armando Cabral’s transition from model to designer may have been inevitable. The Lisbon native with a “life-long passion” for shoes started modeling in 2001 after earning a business administration degree in London. After a career working with a variety of brands, from the lux of Vuitton and Dior to the more familiar J.Crew, Cabral combined his enthusiasm for footwear with his industry knowledge to launch his eponymous line of Italian-made leather and suede shoes. Cabral’s Spring/Summer 2014 collection is a lush mix of classic and modern.
