Jay Z partnered with Barneys New York to curate a collection of limited-edition holiday products from selected designers as a fund-raiser for his scholarship foundation. The promotion, titled A New York Holiday, will include customized products in a color palette of black, white, gold and silver inspired by the city. On the high-end, a pair of Shawn Carter by Hublot 45mm watches. In polished black ceramic the watch will set you back $17,900. With alligator straps; $33,900. The apparel selection starts at $70 for a Barneys cotton T-shirt and includes a special-edition Stutterheim Raincoat for $675 (above).
A New York Holiday will be available Nov. 20 through Jan. 3 online and at Barneys flagships in New York, Boston, Chicago, Beverly Hills and San Francisco. A limited selection of products will available for pre-order online prior to November 20. Twenty-five per cent of all sales from the project will go toward the Shawn Carter Scholarship Foundation, which is marking its 10th anniversary this year.
