With less than a month to go until London Collections: Men SS14, the British Fashion Council has released two of three teaser videos for a forthcoming short film promoting British menswear.

This is shaping up to be a banner year for London Collections: Men, the biannual showcase of menswear. This year Burberry will return from Milan for the brands first London menswear show in 10 years. New York based Rag & Bone will decamp to London for the first time and Dolce & Gabbana will present their summer 2014 tailoring collection on June 15 – kicking of three days of shows. Dylan Jones, Editor in Chief of British GQ and chairman of London Collections: Men, said, “We are thrilled to welcome Dolce & Gabbana to London Collections: Men, and we are delighted that they are opening this season with such a high-profile event. London welcomes Domenico and Stefano and hope they decide to have an event here every season.”

Just a few years ago London Fashion Week risked perpetual irrelevance with a lack of organization and a dearth of top editors (i.e. no Anna). Today London has reclaimed its mantle as the showcase for the future of fashion and become the menswear destination.
