British Fashion Award winner for Emerging Talent J.W. Anderson will create a capsule collection for Versace’s bridge line Versus. The announcement follows news of the Italian label’s restructuring following the departure of long time creative consultant Christopher Kane. Anderson will be the first of many collaborations as part of the new youth-oriented and digital strategy for Versus.

According to WWD Versus is to be a “season-less line with a strong digital element that will be designed by Donatella Versace in collaboration with a number of yet-to-be-named young designers, stylists, and creative talents.” The capsule collections will be shown on a rolling schedule throughout the year at special events rather than runway shows with pieces available immediately online.

Anderson currently designs a women’s ready-to-wear collection & menswear line. He describes his look as “things that can be borrowed from a man to a woman and from a woman to a man.”
