J.Crew Spring 2013 Men’s Collection

J.Crew’s men’s collection was inspired by the color-blocked paintings of Ellsworth Kelly, evident in everything from polo shirts and barn jackets to shorts, infused with acid brights as well as more subtle monochromatic dual tones. Men’s design director Frank Muytjens stayed true to the brand’s heritage, mixing clean with rugged, e.g., a navy tuxedo jacket that topped a selvage denim work shirt and chambray shorts. He also offered the popular Ludlow suit in a new lightweight Italian chino done in chambray and overdyed navy seersucker. Source: WWD
