Louis Vuitton Fall Winter 2012 Lookbook

For his sophomore Louis Vuitton menswear collection Kim Jones used 70’s Paris, 80’s Tokyo and the brands travel heritage as inspiration. The materials were just as important to the seasons looks as the silhouettes. Jones used crocodile, kangaroo, feathers and silks to create an internationally inspired collection. Some of the designs and techniques used in this collection will be familiar to long time Kim Jones fans. The advanced Japanese technical fabrics used in the outwear pieces were a counterpoint to the Kimono shirts hand-woven from silk produced through a ritualized process at a UNESCO World Heritage site outside Tokyo.

Louis Vuitton apparel is available exclusively at Louis Vuitton boutiques.
