Fred Perry Champion’s Kit Lookbook

The original Fred Perry was an English tennis champion best know today as the last British man to win Wimbledon in 1936. He launched his clothing line at the 1952 Wimbledon championships and used the tournaments symbol as inspiration for the brands laurel wreath logo. The new Fred Perry Authentic Champions Kit capsule collection was inspired by this history. The brand has deep tennis roots and the new designs evoke styles worn by the leading athletes during the brands glory days of the 1950’s and 60’s.

The timing of the Champion’s Kit release is no coincidence. This summer will be filled with championship tennis with French Open currently underway, followed by The Championships and then the London Olympic Games.
